DEVARIM (דְּבָרִים) | Remember Before You Enter: Covenant • Giants • Faith • The Last Days.

Shabbat Shalom!

This week we begin the Book of Deuteronomy (Devarim), meaning “Words.” These are Moses’ final messages to a new generation of Israel standing on the edge of the Promised Land.

The first generation died in the wilderness because of unbelief. Now Moses reminds their children of God’s faithfulness so they won’t repeat the same mistakes.

His message is just as relevant today:Every generation must decide whether it will trust God’s promises or live by fear.

This Week’s Readings:

Torah: Deuteronomy 1-3.

Haftarah: Isaiah 1:1–27.

Gospel: Matthew 24:1–22
