PART 4: John the Baptist and the Kingdom of God.

Before Yeshua (Jesus) began His public ministry, God sent John (Yochanan) the Baptist as the prophetic voice crying out in the wilderness, calling Israel to repentance and announcing that the Kingdom of God was at hand. John's mission was not to establish a new religion but to prepare God's covenant people for the arrival of their Messiah and King.

This study explores the biblical foundation of the Kingdom of God through the united work of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and Israel. From the promises given to Abraham and David, to John's proclamation, to Yeshua's ministry and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Scripture reveals one continuous story of God's redemptive Kingdom unfolding through His covenant with Israel and extending His salvation to ALL nations!

Together, we will examine why John the Baptist's message remains just as relevant today: "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 3:2). As believers, we are called not only to enter God's Kingdom through faith in the Messiah but also to live as citizens of that Kingdom while awaiting its complete fulfillment when Yeshua returns to reign.
